A Bit About Me
I am 20 years old and have spent the last two years of my life attending the University of Idaho in Moscow, a beautiful place that I will always hold dear to my heart. My passions include sheep, dancing, medicine, and bringing others unto Christ. If you know me you know I could've never guessed my going on a mission but God is always surprising me with his timing and plans. I am grateful for the opportunity I have to be his full time representitive and to help and serve others.

"I am of infinite worth with my own divine mission, which I will strive to fulfill."

MY TESTIMONY OF THE BOOK OF MORMON
I often think about how much I have been blessed in this life. Both temporally and spiritually. I am very aware that this multitude of blessings did not come without sacrifice. My wonderful earthly parents sacrificed everything to join the church so that they could raise my siblings and I to know of the fullness of the gospel. My parents work so hard to make sure that I never want for anything. Especially my dad who is the hardest worker I know. He works hard to be a worthy priesthood holder to provide for me everything I need to succeed spiritually and temporally.
I Also think of Joseph Smith, the first prophet called of God in this dispensation. He is someone who may have sacrificed more than any of us. He and many others died to give someone like me the truth of the restored gospel, much of which is contained within the Book of Mormon.
Even Mormon, a prophet in the Book of Mormon, dedicated all he had to put the accounts of all of the ancient prophets together.
Every time I read the Book of Mormon I think about the path that it took to get to me. I can't even express the gratitude to Mormon and the ancient prophets, to Joseph Smith and those involved in the restoration, to my Mom and Dad, and to my God for making it possible for me to read and study its pages and ask God for myself if this book really is true.
The Book of Mormon teaches me:
about liberty, freedom, and agency
about the power of the atonement of Jesus Christ
about where my loved ones have gone after death
and about the plan God has for each and every one of us to become like him.
These are just a few of my favorite things. I have never had a crazy spiritual experience or even a burning in my chest sensation that a lot of people have. But I know through study and prayer and the comfort I receive from these truths that the Book of Mormon is true. It is of God and I can't express fully on how much it means to me. It's something I've never questioned, something I've always known.
