Hey people. This week was fun! I hit my 10 month mark and Sister Weiman hit her 3 month mark! So proud of her. Time flies. Ae are going hammocking with the elders later and I'm stoked. The weather has been so nice here and the rain has let up for the most part so we are going to take advantage! Some highlights: We had two lessons with Jack and they both went great! It's so awesome to see him really ponder and study the scriptures and lessons with such real intent. He asks the best questions! And then when we ask him questions he legit responds with a scripture reference from the Book of Mormon that he has read. Literally he's just the smartest nicest guy that everyone loves. We also got to have lessons with Hamid and Ashwin! They each have their own journeys to make in different areas but I'm so excited for them. Love them both alot. Super fun and christlike people. All three of them came to church yesterday so that was awesome! Lots of tracting:) but a nice girl let us in and offered me sunscreen and water. That was so sweet. Grateful. We had exchanges with the sister training leaders and I was with sister Dietz for the day. It was great to get to know her better and we had a good ol time. Apparently Companion doesn't like when I preach from Harry Potter books at dinner parties. She says I embarrass her or something? Doesnt sound like me..;)I'll try to add some of the pictures documenting this even from last week. Bishops dinners are always so stinking fun. This week we had these tube things that were a blast. I was targeted and chased by one of our investigators. I guess he didn't like the missionary discussions? Jokes. but it was alot of fun! Pictures of those to come too, but the videos are priceless. As a last resort I was asked to lead the music. I tried to tell brother Greene my only experience with this was when I was 8 in activity day girls they taught a lesson on it but he insisted I do it. We all got a laugh when a member of the congregation was correcting my leading during every song. It was quite funny. You know some days are hard, actually more often then not they are if I'm being honest. Yet I'm surrounded by people I absolutely adore and I find my self laughing and having so much fun even in the midst of really hard things. Lehi describes why this opposition is necessary when he said "For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things..." without it there would be "joy, for they knew no misery; doing no good, for they knew no sin." Opposition, trials, and temptations are apart of Gods plan. I am so grateful to be able to experience even the lows because its makes the highs so much sweeter. It allows me to grow and to increase my gratitude toward my Savior for allowing me to have little victories over sin and weakness. Just like with with the fall of Adam and Eve our falls can be counted as a fall forward rather than backward if we are following Gods plan and letting him turn our weaknesses into strengths. God is good, always. And he wants us to be happy! Sometimes that means allowing us to feel sad. It's a crazy concept. Thank you for all the love emails packages support and all that jazz. Have the best week and dont forget to celebrate the 4th the right way. That includes jamming to Toby Keith, having a firework mishap, and thanking God for this great nation. "Good night God bless. God bless America and get home safe" -Michael Scott Kloveyoubye, Sister Fisher
