Hey ya'll! okay I'm going to try and do my best to focus for this blog but I'm currently at the library and there is a little kid Halloween party going on and the kids are so stinkin' cute I might die.
This week was awesome. Today is my click day and p-day so bless. Also we get our monthly allowance so we aren't broke anymore! Double bless. It's my two month mark and it's the weirdest thing because I feel like I've been out for a year but also time flies by and seems really fast so yeah trippy. We got to teach quite a few lessons this week and we had 3 of our people come to church yesterday so that was a wonderful surprise. I love teaching with Sister Neilson. She is always reminding me to simplify the lessons and have fun. I think I'm just so grateful this week especially to be a servant of the Lord. I'm lucky that God trusts me enough to share his gospel with his other sheep. I tell you what it is the coolest thing being able to teach someone and just completely relying on the spirit to guide what you do and say. Like I said, I'm just so thankful that this is my job. With that being said what the heck is the deal with Trump going to National FFA Convention?! The first time in 5 years that I don't attend this convention and the freaking bomb president decides he is going to go? Pretty bummed about that not going to lie, but the Lord comes first ya know. Still super cool to hear about that. That kind of leads me into my spiritual thought for the week. Nothing is more important than God. I sometimes think about what I would be doing if I were home right now. Like probably studying for a test and working as a CNA somewhere or taking a nap watching Harry Potter or something. Shoot maybe looking for a dude to start my fam bam with. (these tiny kids in costumes are too cute people). But then I always stop myself because I know that while those things are great I know that I have been so blessed as I have put those things off momentarily to serve my Heavenly Father. I know there is a God. I know he loves us individually and that he wants us to know and love him too. He has a plan for us better than we can even imagine, but we can only attain that potential by aligning our will this his will. Nothing is more important than God, Jesus Christ, and your eternal destiny. NOTHING. So whatever is holding you back from that, set it aside. I remember I used to have the hardest time finding just ten minutes out of my day to read my scriptures. Now I study for at least an hour a day and often times more. I seriously am so mad at my old self for not making prayer and scripture study a bigger priority in my life. We missed one day of study this week and it was the worst. I felt off all day. Now I'm not saying that you have to study for an hour or more everyday, but my point is people that as we follow God's commandments and do the small things to get to know him everyday, we will feel the joy and peace that comes with it. You can't not feel happy when you come to know Heavenly Father and our Savior. But don't take my word for it, try it:)
Oh yeah and this week Sister Neilson and I are dressing up for our church's trunk or treat. It's going to be freaking great. I will get to fulfill a dream of being one of my favorite Disney characters. No it's not a princess. That's too basic. Stay tuned for next week's post to see the dope costumes we came up with!
Also all the leaves have finally changed and it's SO PRETTY here guys!
Okay I love ya'll so much and thank you for the letters, packages, love and support as always. kloveyoubye. Sister Fisher
