WEEK 41-SO FRESH AND SO CLEAN

Satan has been trying to rain on our parade this week. Hate him. But whatever. We've gotten pretty drenched while tracting and finding but it's okay. We made the most of it. We actually got caught in like a flash flood without any jackets or umbrella so we just got soaked. Then to add to it we were waiting at the bus stop and the cars that would come by would splash a wave of water on us. It was like a scene from a sad movie let me tell ya. We will laugh about it once our shoes finally dry! Yeah so lots of rain but some sweet blessings. We've been having such a great time with our friends Ashwin and Hamid. Ashwin even went to the temple with some ward members on Saturday! So cool. Let me just reiterate this ward is so great! I love them so dang much. They feel like family and I know leaving this place in a couple of weeks is going to be rough. Bishop Woolwine said we could start a petition that I stay here for the remainder of my mission. I'm all about it but I have a feeling my mission president is going to give that a hard pass! Anyway nothing else too crazy. Finding joy in the work here with my fellow 10/10 missionaries. Lots of laughs and I love them all. Infact I'm about to try to cut one of the Elder's hair. I told him my resume consists of shearing sheep and fitting legs and he called it good! Haha pray for him. 2nd Nephi 33:6 is one of my favorites. In it Nephi says " I glory in my Jesus". I love this because it shows how personal of a relationship he had with his savior. If you saw my FB post you already saw this but this week I was challenged to try and draw out my own relationship with Jesus. And wow. It was a cool experience. One I'm super grateful for and while my art might not be perfect, it's perfect for me and my Jesus. Wow He is so real and I am so grateful He knows me and helps me every single day. Find your individual relationship with your Savior who loves you and is just waiting for you to get to know him better. Whatever it looks like, whatever it is, it's perfect and so personal.
