Hey people my new addy is 100 Kimball Ave, Salem, VA 24153. Feel free to send packages, letters, money, you know whatever;)

Jokes but this week has been a long stinking week. Mainly because we got moved in and then we had transfers. Sister Neilson left me and went back to the homeland of West Virginia. It's a sad time and I miss her lots. Her leaving means that I have to take over the area with a new companion. So here I am in Salem, taking over the area with Sister Peacock. She's great. We are very different and transfers are weird so things will get better. We've got a lot of work to do here in Salem so we will be keeping busy and that will help. On Monday night we had dinner with the Houchins. We taught them the word savage. They are so great and funny and they gave us a full sized fake Christmas tree! We needed a star so I made a super extra star with a picture of baby Jesus on one side and Jesus on the other just so ya know depending on your mood you can change it up. Tuesday after shoveling some more snow, the Zone Leaders came and helped us move the rest of our stuff. We had a snowball fight so that was fun. The snow is all melted away now and I miss it. Then we went and had dinner with Brother Ferguson. He's so cool, just the best. Wednesday we had the big order for bishop's storehouse and that was alot of fun. We also had lessons with John and Kylee and those were amazing. I am seriously so grateful to be able to teach some of God's elect. Because it was Neilson's last night we obviously had to pull an all nighter and get her packed and spend as much time together as possible. We had to be at the church at 5:30 am and drop her off. Not a good morning folks. I spent the rest of that day with sister McQuinn. Not sure how to spell that but shes super cute and British so that helped things. Then we had dinner with the Williamsons, also awesome people, and we went pack and met up with our new comps.

Friday we had district counsel and then we had weekly planning and got in contact with Kacie Fischer who is inactive and has two sweet kids. It was fun to get to know them and play with the kiddos. Friday and Saturday we got a lot done and met alot of nice people who were pretty open to us or would at least hear us out.

Yesterday I had to talk in the church and that went really well. And I also sang in the choir. Met some new people at church including this girl who just moved here and she is a past Idaho State FFA officer so that's sweet! I forget her name right now but she served in '08. Then we had Stake choir and all the wards provide different numbers and it's a sweet concert. IT WAS AWESOME! and I met a non member named carol who is super nice and I told her that her ring was beautiful and she took it off and gave it to me! We are friends now and hopefully we can start teaching her soon! This morning our fridge about caught on fire so Elias the maintenance guy came and got us a new one haha.

There are no words for how grateful I am to be where I am. I love the people of Salem so much it's crazy and to have a companion like sister Neilson right off the bat just gave me so much hope for the rest of my mission. These things are proof that there is a God and He is aware of what each of us need individually. We are put here on this earth with a divine purpose in mind, to be happy and to succeed. Don't doubt that God loves you. He knows your name and He loves you so much He gave you a precious gift we celebrate each Christmas. The Gift of His son Jesus Christ and His atonement. Guys we have such a sweet deal. I love sharing this message. The message of the only true gospel on this earth.

Thank you for all the packages, letters, prayers and love as always. A shoutout to the fam: travel safe and experience all the magic of Disneyland for me! Merry Christmas!

kloveyoubye,

Sister Fisher
