Hey people...sooo I'm just going to start with the news that has had me shook all weekend...WE NOW GET TO CALL/VIDEO CHAT HOME ON MONDAYS, HOLIDAYS, PARENTS BIRTHDAYS AND SPECIAL OCCASIONS! My deepest appreciation sent to the first presidency and Elder Uchtdorf for literally answering my prayers. So excited to see some of your beautiful faces later today! However, just so this won't become a distraction to me from missionary work, and because I love you all and want you to know a little sumtin sumtin about what I'm doing over here I have one condition to be able to call/video chat me. RULE: Every phone call or video chat must first start with a scripture or insight from The Book of Mormon. This applies to everyone, I don't care who ya are.:) So kind of hard to have a bad week with that news, and I didn't. Best week in a while. It started on Tuesday with me being able to see the colorful OG queen herself, Sister Neilson. I literally was shaking and almost in tears when I saw her for the first time in 2ish months. Ugggg words cant describe. Still not over it. Anyway zone conference was amazing as usual! We talked all about the power of The Book of Mormon. Oh my goodness you guys, I love this book so much and let me tell you, there should be a warning on the book like: WARNING: IF YOU READ AND PRAY ABOUT THIS BOOK, YOU WILL BE BAPTIZED. Because it just draws you so much closer to Christ and strengths your desire to follow him! 10/10 recommend! Other highlights this week: On Valentines Day we passed out little heart shaped cards with a scripture about God's love and a chocolate kiss on it. It was so fun. Literally loved it and people were so receptive. Made alot of people smile so mission accomplished. We had so many lessons this week and it was so great to be busy! We met with our friend Hayes twice and found more Chinese church material to share with him to help him understand the lessons. We gave them to him and he smiled real big and said "I LOVE THEM!" We love Hayes and he is making so much progress already! He came to an activity with the members on Saturday. The theme was the amazing race and I didnt think we would literally be racing, like running. But boy we did and my face was red for a good hour after but it was alot of fun! We also had exchanges that day so Sister Richardson got a good little workout too. A blessing we were both wearing pants! So pretty much love all our people and the ward is just stellar. High on life people. It's a great time to be a missionary so if you've been thinking about it, JUST DO IT. Also I've started on my goal to finish the whole Bible before the end of the mish. Wow. Okay so here's what I've learned so far...I love the Bible don't get me wrong. It's the word of God and it is very important, but honestly reading the Bible makes me more grateful for the Book of Mormon. I have learned more about the Bible from reading the Book of Mormon than I have from reading the actual Bible. Crazy, I know, but hear me out. They are meant to compete each other and testify of each other. The Book of Mormon testifies, teaches, clarifies and expounds on what the Bible talks about. And in turn the Bible prophesies alot about the Book of Mormon. Some pretty crazy stuff happens in the Bible and if I'm being real here it actually blows my mind that people will believe and accept the Bible as the word of God but they won't even entertain the idea of the Book of Mormon let alone read it. Seriously, I can't say it enough, read the Book of Mormon! You're life will change for the better and you will get what I'm talking about here. Thank you for all the letters, emails, prayers, packages, and love like always. Have the best week. And to all of you in Idaho, STAY WARM! Anywho, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true..... Kloveyoubye, Sister Fisher
