So. I've lost my April bus pass and April hasn't even started. I am now using my may bus pass to slide my way on the bus. Somethings got to give. I may just have Sister Stoker be permanently in charge of my passes. Pray for me. We really had a surprisingly great week! Hamid came to church for the first time ever in his life and he really loved it! He also came to a devotional last night and did so great at meeting all the members and participating. We are so pumped for him. Also Hayes wants to get baptized this weekend! In our lesson when we invited him to be baptized we had planned on asking him to be baptized sometime in April. But during the lesson I randomly just said March 30th. That was back in February and we were thinking we might have to push it back, but when we talked to Hayes about it he said "the sooner the better!" So it was defiantly inspired and we will be working our butts off to get this baptism put together for Saturday. It's crazy how he started just over a month ago not really knowing much about God or scriptures and now he not only believes in God but he reads the scriptures and prays and has faith to follow Jesus Christ and enter the waters of baptism. I can see the change in him as a person as he has come to know his divine nature as a son of God. It's so cool! We also met this cool guy named Ashwin this week. He meditates and reads energies. After we sat and talked for a while he said we have a great energy so hes going to meet with us again! Christ really is working right by our sides. He also makes up for all the things I struggle with and all my weaknesses which I greatly appreciate! This week our ward did a March madness bracket for the last conference talks to get us prepared for this conference. I've re-watched and read most of the talks and it has been such a great experience. I feel like they apply to me more now then they did in October when they were given. That's proof of inspiration to me. Anyway it was a nail biter and it killed me a bit to knock out some of the talks, but Wounded by Elder Andersen came out on top for me! Real quick just a few of my favorite things that stood out to me: "Look backward, remembering that you proved your worthiness in your premortal state. You are a valiant child of God, and with His help, you can triumph in the battles of this fallen world. You have done it before, and you can do it again. Look forward. Your troubles and sorrows are very real, but they will not last forever. Your dark night will pass, because “the Son … [did rise] with healing in his wings.” Even with your own painful wounds, you will instinctively reach out to others, trusting in the Savior’s promise: “Whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” The wounded who nurse the wounds of others are God’s angels on earth. You may be exhausted but don't ever give up!" Also I got to hear my little cousin Rowan say a sweet prayer today. This is how it went: Dear God thank you for my family. Thank you for the Lego movie. And thank you for Ice cream. I love you Jesus. AMEN. God hear all of our prayers no matter how big or small. Okay have a great week. Thank you for the love, support, and prayers as always. Sending mine to you! Kloveyoubye, Sister Fisher
